Teresa
Teresa came in to see us to design a bespoke pendant as she had some gold that she no longer wore. We had plenty to work with!
She wanted something unique that nobody else would have, and her love for the outdoors led her to decide on a woodland theme.
She absolutely loves conkers, so this definitely had to be included, then she worked with our designer Natalie to see what other items we could build to complement the conker.
Our goldsmith, Behzad, tried lots of different methods to get the finish that we wanted. The pendants couldn’t be too heavy as they would not be wearable, so he finally decided on a wax casting method, which he then used to cast the metal in sand (shown in the picture below).
The piece was then finished by hand and all of the details were intricately put in by Behzad.
As you can see, Teresa finally decided on an acorn and a berry to complement the pendant. The finished pieces are so sweet, and look fantastic together!
