Emma's 50th birthday bangles
Emma came in for a design appointment with Jo.
She brought in two bangles that were gifted to her by her mum. These two bangles were made by us many years ago from inherited gold that she had.
The idea was to use the two bangles to create a new crossover bangle and two thinner bangles that would still be solid, using as much of the gold from the original bangle as possible.
The crossover bangle was given its look with a faux clasp, but was designed so that Emma could slip the bangle comfortably over her hand.
Measurements were taken to ensure the bangle fitted well, making the bangle completely bespoke to her.
With the remainder of Emma’s gold we decided to make another two thin solid bangles.
To our surprise, Behzad was able to make an additional thin bangle out of the remaining gold. Meaning Emma could have another gold piece made in the process.
We were so pleased to be able to make some lovely new pieces for Emma, and she that was able to have them in time to celebrate her 50th birthday.
“Just fabulous, it’s beyond what I expected ”
